Hello Loves! So FH has his HUGE company Christmas ball on 12/12. I have a fabulous Royal Blue/Purple balloon dress that I typically wear with strappy silver heels. However, since I will be wearing nylons and it will be freezing I want to buy a pair of closed toe silver heels. I can't spend a lot of money I am talking maybe $20-30 tops....can you girls help me find something like this?!?!

you might want to consider silver peeptoes, i have a pair of silver snakeskin ones from ninewest, i got them on a sale at macys for like 40 bucks

oh yea haha, i was gonna tell you to forgo the nylons, but if you had to then yea it would be a bit of a faux pas....wear a long coat so you won't have to wear hose
i'm assuming your balloon dress is a short right?

Yeah it's a short balloon dress...maybe I won't need nylons but even if I don't I still shouldn't wear the strappy sandals cuz they will look too summery right???

I always wear panty hose with a dress in the winter no matter what. I would search for pointy stiletto closed toe shoes. I'll search and see if I can find anything.

www.lovemyshoes.com is great. If you can't find shoes, you can buy a pair of spanx and wear the strappy ones that you have - that's what I'm doing for a wedding that I'm in next week.

do you have a strawberry's by you? The one on GCT sells clothes (like all of them) but also shoes and they are so cheap! Also, try Joyce Leslie or Dots!

much cheaper -- go to Macys or L & T and get Donna Karan's toeless panty hose. It's like a little thong that goes around your big toe and all your toes are exposed. They work great and are very shear so you cannot see them at all.
