Well I am down another bridesmaid. Unfortunately we can not be friends since she doesn't agree with me marrying the man I love my best friend my soul mate for life. Basically I went to dinner with her on Monday and I was telling her that the wedding planning has been coming along well and she asks me why my FH was texting her cousin. He already told me he had spoke to her on FB breifly a few times. It stopped. I told her I knew and he wasn't trying to hit on her he was just being friendly. He read to me all the aims he sent to her and what she wrote back and it was all innocent. She said to me that if I want to be in denial about my Finance cheating on me that's my business. I couldn't believe what she had said and I told her we can no longer be friends. That I am done and how dare she throw out accusations without any proof. I know be wouldn't cheat on me and why would she do this to me? I am so hurt.

Wow! Sorry she said things that hurt your feelings. Dont let it make you too upset and remember your day is about you and him everything else is extra.

This does stink...however from her end she thought she was trying to protect you..we all have said things or suspected things without always having 100 percent proof...just would've been nice if she handled it differently perhaps by giving u the info hearing u out and then saying she supports u and will be there for u...

ITA. I am hoping that in time you guys can work this out. It seems like a silly misunderstanding on her part. Sorry you have to go through this!

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I think she should have heard you out and maybe handled it differently. Bottom line, it does sound like she was trying to protect you, she just said it wrong & got you upset. At the end of the day, you have to evaluate your friendship and see if this is worth loosing her over. I think you should talk it out with her and tell her how you feel so she know she hurt you and maybe she will be able to express herself better.

Exactly! I do think she could have handled it better and I'm so sorry you are going through this I had a similar situation with a friend but we handled it extremely delicately and only spoke up when she asked what we thought. I hope you can work it out - there is a fine line between supporting and ganging up!
Thanks guys! I will give this some time to blow over. If she wants to talk I will but I wont chase her. What hurts is I have always supported her in her dscissions it stinks she cant do the same!

Wow that sucks im so sorry ...but weddings do bring out the true side of people...im sorry you are going through that ...thats sad that she has to act that way
