NWR omg my coworker is driving me nuts

O M F G. I am going to reach over my desk and kick him. My boss just hired him about a week ago and he is the most annoying person ever. He sits right nex to me, no walls or anything between us. He cracks his knuckles every 10 minutes (which drives me up a wall) and chews his gum like a cow chews grass (not even exaggerating)

What do I do!! He is driving me crazy!

I know the feeling. Trust me. There is post on here somewhere about me bytching about them. There is nothing we can do. I love my ipod.

Its funny because he tries to talk to me and I know I come off like a complete b!tch because I get so mad.

I used to work with a guy who constanly hums. There are no walls between us either. i wanted to punch him in the face! Fortunately he left the company before i had to kill him.

Can you listen to music to tune out the knuckle cracking? I will think about annoying things you can do to get him back. Maybe you could hum? lol

maybe 'accidently' snap a rubber band across your desk and hit him in the eye...Or a random paper clip just somehow made it airborne and hit him in the face...Strange things can happen...

reading this thread has helped me tune him out. See LIW is good for my therapy! Ill have to tell that to my boss when he sees I am on here all the time.

omg i would go nuts too...i think you should politely ask him to stop with the knuckles and gum...otherwise ur gonna go crazy everyday...i know its an ackward thing but it will be better in the long run if u ask him to stop

OMG there is nothing worse than an annoying coworker, especially one that sits next to you!!!! I feel so bad for you!! I have an ANNOYING woman next to me too, with a tiny wall separating us (that she drapes her nasty dirty sweater covered in her hair over, and it touches my stuff!) She isn't TOO bad when she is quiet lol.

ugh.. co-workers are a pain in the butt!
My 'best friend' was away for awhile and she's coming back next week

work was sooo much easier and more bearable without her here.
I can't stand people who ask stupid questions after working at a place for almost 2 years. Ugh.. our job isn't THAT hard that u should have a million questions! I feel like her supervisor at times.

try the combating radios. In the afternoon I share my office with someone who does my filing and stuff and her radio drives me nuts.

The co worker in the next office sings and I hear her

Then another is constently roaming the office.

Throw your stapler at him! Haha..just kidding. Annoying co-workers are the WORST...I have my fair share of them. I just put my Ipod on and when they come over to my desk...I act like i cant hear them trying to get my attention! Good luck!
