NWR: Opening an Internet Shop

I am sick of being unemployed and have been toying with the idea of opening an online store. The problem is that I am fairly clueless as to where to start... do any of you guys have experience with this? It would be great if you could recommend some useful resources or give me any tips!
Thanks!
