FH wants to go to Atlantic City this weekend w/ some friends - I am invited too but don't think I'm going to go - I have a dentist appt saturday morning that I can't re-schedule.
am I wrong to want him to stay here? This is the 4th time in the last 6 months that he is going away w/ the guys - am I being too clingy?

only you know your relationship. Things like this never bother me because I use the time alone to do things for myself (have dinner with friends, get my nails done, etc)
If you're upset, why don't you change the dental appt and go?

Yes, he probably just wants to enjoy the guy time before he is married. Give him his space and I am sure he will appreciate you when he gets back!
Is the group all guys? Would it be weird for you to go even if you could? I know sometimes it is best to let my FI have his time with his guy friends if I would be the only woman there....

no ur not being too clingy...I'd be the same way.
Even though FH and I live together, I feel like we never spend anytime together. He works ridiculous hours, and he comes home eats his dinner, and watch tv together for an hour and then off to bed to do the same thing again the next day..... theres nothing wrong with getting upset when hes with his friends. I'm guilty of it even if its a nite out with the boys... I cant help myself.

IMO, I don't think that going away 4 weekends in 6 months is that bad. I can understand wanting to have him around though. Do you two see each other during the week? If not, I can understand your reluctance at his going way. FH and I only see each other on the weekends, so when that doesn't work out, it's disappointing.

i understand the hanging out with his friends part - it's the fact that we don't see each other that much during the week (and we live together) because he has a long commute and I've been working later the past few weeks. i guess i'm a little jealous because he works with his best friend so he already commutes with him, works with him, and sees him after work a few nights a week - his best friend is with him a lot more than i am, if you don't count sleeping.

I agree... everyone is different, to me, it would not bother me, but like Donna said, only you know your relationship... Good luck!

I agree with the girls who say every relationship is different. When FH & I first started dating we were together every weekend, our friends complained but we didn't care too much. But now that we have been together and settled we realize to keep growing in our relationship, we need to do things apart. Going out with friends is part of that. I'd say give him some space, your going to have him for the rest of your life

personally I wish that my FH would do go away for the weekend. LOL...not that I don't love him to pieces and wouldn't miss him...I just get NO time to myself and neither does he!!
