NWR: Our first furniture purchases!
FH and I went to Bob's furniture store tonight to buy a bed and a couch, our first furniture purchases together. FH tells me in the car 'We're just looking so let's make it quick!' I'm thinking in my head 'Yeah, right! We're buying the furniture tonight!'
FH wanted a couch that reclines on both ends. He tried out three of them. He was so cute pretending he had a remote in his hand changing the channels. He liked two of them and I really liked one of them. Of course I got my way!
As for the bed, I knew we were going to get a queen because we need some space left in the apartment bedroom for other furniture. FH looks at the queen and goes, 'That's not big enough!' I made him lay down on it and I laid next to him to show him there was still space. He goes, 'You're too close!' He's so sweet! I told him we'll buy the king bed once we get a house.
Overall it was a good first experience with FH. Hopefully the bed and couch look nice in our apartment!
