Hey girls...FH has decided he wants to be a certified diver before we go to Hawaii...so...we start classes on March 4th...anyone ever gone scuba diving before?
I'm a little nervous...but def. excited.
Suggestions...input...???

Never done it but I think its a great idea to do that before you go on your HM. I know I've seen many resorts offer the certification, however I'd feel better having it before getting there. Good luck with that

Thanks...we just think that once we have kids it will difficult to become certified. The class is right in Port Jeff. Best part...Its a lifetime certification...

my fh got certified when we were in cozumel this past may. it didn't take that long. i think that was the best way to do it. it took 3 days a couple hours a day. i might get certified when we go on our HM so we can go diving together

I have never gone but my father is an awesome one. He has every certification under the sun for all different things, mixed gases etc. He loves it, he has been doing it for almost 20 years! He dives wrecks all the time, I say go for it, it might even become a passion of yours, I know that happens to a lot of people. They go for a simple certification before a vacation and become hooked.
Edited for spelling, I'm sure i still left errors in, lol.

I wish I could do it. I have a severe pressure problem with my ears. I would defiantly suggest to get a check-up from the doctor before starting the classes, to make sure his body can handle it.
FH might do the same before we go to Antigua. I just wish I could go diving with him.
