When bates stamping documents in response to a subpoena, I only bates stamp the copies correct, not the originals?

That's how we used to do it in my old office. I'm so glad I don't deal with bates stamping anymore....I hated that.

It depends. I used to just do it to the copies but every firm is different. Do you scan them in as well?
