Look at this petition out that Paris wants her fans to sign to keep her out of her 45 day jail sentence!! It's pretty ridiculous -- these stars need to start beeing handled like regular people -- the law is the law!! Anyway, the link is below for this petition - I don't know how to put the link in my post so you can just click on it!
I am seriously disturbed that this petition has over 900 signatures! What is wrong with people?
yes, but how many of them are kids 16 and under if only we could all claim our assistants were to blame
I've always said this country is susceptible to brain rot. This doesn't concern me too much. What is MUCH more disturbing is the erradication of genuine news from our media. We have no idea what is going on in the world. I routinely turn to european news sources to find out what's going on in Africa, Asia, and parts of the middle east where our troops are NOT present.
We are not presented Darfur in the media, simply because the general public doesn't want to learn where this conflict is. We don't care about geography or world politics. We're WAY too myopic. Never mind the fact the chinese are supplying weapons to that area... basically funded by all of our cheap sock and underwear purchases... no worry! If it's not on cable news, it can't be important, right?

If you go to the acutal petition it is up to over 4,000 signatures!
I will state...this is RIDICULOUS...... HOWEVER....they put her in jail for 45 days and they JUST let Ty Pennington off on a DUI with a 5k bail....
how is that fair?
All should be punished equally for the same crime. No one should get off like that for drunk driving, I don't care who you are.

However, I think the difference between Miss P and Ty is that Paris has prior DUI's as well as other convictions and arrests...
Does Ty have any priors?? I'm not familiar.

Yeah I'm not sure about Ty either.
But that might be why she got time and he got the lesser charge- b/c they did give her the lesser charge of a fine and then community service the first time around and then the second time too but she did it YET again and now it's a violation of her probation- which is why they are slapping the sentence on her.

As for as I'm concerned, She is a rich spoiled brat who needs to GROW UP!!!!! She also needs to take full responsibility for her actions. Let her do time like everyone else!!!!! I don't feel sorry for her!!!

Yeah, I think this is his first offense. Paris has down this 3 times already. She should be reminded of her actions and speak to people who have lost someone to a drunk driver. I'd like to hear her explain her actions then.

I heard on 92.3 earlier that there is another petition online to get rid of Paris. This group even has a song dedicated to her and how they are tired of her. Her petition makes me sick. If you do something that can harm others you deserve to get punished for it regardless of who you are. Here is the site.

I completely agree!! What if she ended up hurting or killing someone...cmon, she is human just like the rest of us...big deal if she is famous..if you do something that will harm others, you need to be punished! This makes me sick..

Paris misses the point. She's not going to jail because of the DUI. She's going to jail because she violated her probation for the DUI. She's so stupid, and THAT'S why she's going to jail. It never occured to her that she actually had to follow the terms of her probation. And from what I read, she was driving at night with her lights off, which is incredibly dangerous and reckless.
'Provides beauty and hope.' Give me a break. Provides a laugh, maybe. And now she's going to provide an example of why you need to take probabion seriously.
