Anyone else have pens in their office that grow legs and run away?
I just ordered 100 a couple weeks ago.....and now the girls are complaining there are 4 left!!
I swear they are like Gold around here!!
Anyone else have this problem!!!
I mean seriously.....where are my pens?

nene,, that happens here too, the ones i use I put a post it w. scotch tape round the barrel,, then i will knwo who took mine,, LOL

Oh yea, I hide mine as if they are gold!
I have been known for giving people in my office a dirty look for saying 'ooo nice pen' don't even think of it buddy!

Please!!!!! pens, paper, clips, you name it. Best is the first aid kit, it is packed one day and the next it is empty.
People are nuts!

I got a solution: Take any pens that you have the ran out of ink. Put those on your desk right where people can see them. Leave like 10 of them and when someone takes one or uses it dont say a word they'll go to use it and see it doesnt work. Then they'll come back to use another and that one doesnt work either. Soon enough people will go her pens never work. Mean while the pens you use for yourself. DUCT tape string aroung it and tie it to your desk. Write your name on it! Hide the rest.

Yup.....
PrettyPrincess...the problem is.......we never have pens around here long enough to have some without ink!!!! unbelievable!!
Michelle, My pens usually stay in tact. But its the girls that don't, my leasing associates. And I swear after I order the 8 billionth box of pens this year I'm gonna break my budget. No not really...just wish these girls would take better care and keep after these things.
Sorry...I wrote this when the girls came to me...I'm over it now........but its still amazes me.

Oh God this really hits a sore spot LOL because I'm the 'office supply order person' so forget it! People with their 'I need to have florescent tabs to mark pages with-- FLORESCENT ONLY!!' and their nagging and whining when the coffee order is five minutes late.
Pens disappear a lot but not like pencils. I work in an Architectural Woodworking office so pencils are like gold in here. I actually thought about having a sign-in sheet for the pencils because they are special pencils and they are expensive (like seven dollars a piece) and every week I have to order five or six more and we only have 15 people that work here so it's ridiculous.
Plus, I organize the supply closet and someone will come in and take ONE rubberband and there will be like 15 hanging out of the box all over the place b/c they took one and could not put the box back right.

ALL THE TIME! I work a full time job and I have 1 pen glued to my desk so I dont lose it... a part time job and theyre always missing there too! UGH!

My whiteout grows legs and runs away. 2 have gone missing from my desk since friday. What ***** is I bring in my own because it's hell getting the keys to the supply closet.
