Re: NWR: permanent makeup

when i went to Aruba a few years ago there was this woman in her 40s that looked amazing in the 90 degree weather, even after getting out of the pool

FH actually said something to her ( he was drunk) about having 'magic' makeup. . . turns out she had eyeliner tattooed on and some lip color . . . she looked AMAZING at all times and she said all she ever wore was powder so her face wasnt shiny. . . and mascara when she was going out

i would love to do it but i dont know how it would look once it fades (any tattoo fades but I would assume a facial tattoo fades faster) plus i dont know about needles in my face?

but i do like it!

I have no eyebrows. It was really a big issue for me, I used to 'draw them on' with a pencil. I had to be careful at the beach & running at the gym & when I’d get my hair done & I wouldn’t get a facial… obviously couldn’t sleep with makeup on, and I hated being without them. So I had them tattooed on about 3 years ago by a plastic surgeon who did permanent makeup. I am SO THRILLED with them, I wish I did it ten years ago. I personally wouldn’t do the eyeliner, blush or lips, but for me the eyebrows were a must!

Me neither. What happens when your skin becomes saggy when you are old?? Do your eyebrows begin to droop ??

i have thought about getting my eyebrows done... mine are very thin due to years of overplucking, and also very light... so i darken them and thicken them with pencil everyday... but i just keep hoping they will grow back more. they have a lot... they used to be really bad. now at least you can see i have eyebrows after the pool, shower etc
