Do you girls have pet insurance for your pets? If so, which company did you go with?

Yup petunia was my first dog and I was so neurotic when I first got her...well I still am...lol The first night I held her for 4 hours straight and I refused to put her down...lol
I have a pitbull (in my folder) and we got him pet insurance through VPI. It's about $30 a month and worth it because if you have a puppy, that's when you'll be taking them to the vet the most. Shots and (God forbid) anything else, you get reimbursed for. For example, he swallowed something when he was 3 months old. The vet cost $1000 for all the tests and an overnight stay. THANK GOD he wound up being okay. VPI reimbursed us $400. I say get it.

Re: nwr: pet insurance?
i heard they don't cover if it is something that the breed is none to have-genetic related problems. I never had the insurance for any of my many dogs.

Buddy has VPI too. It was good we got it because he contracted parvo at 6 months and they paid for more than 1/2 of his treatment. Later we found out he had allergies and his shots were mostly covered. For us it paid for itself. We pay about 32 a month, doing the monthly plan.

I never got it for my Minnie but when I was looking into it the only one I could find was VPI.

Re: nwr: pet insurance?
VPI is great...but I've come to the conclusion...if you have it you'll never need it and if you don't you will. Better safe then sorry. Totally worth the few bucks.
PETUNIA is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!
We have it for McGonagall (with the tree) and our newest Buster.
aww she's so cute! I wouldn't have left her alone either.
