NWR: Pet Peeve.
Okay so i am not some type of religious nut or anything BUT
today is the immaculate conception which everyone THINKS is the conception of Jesus in Mary's belly
which is completely incorrect - now this is completely fine, not everyone needs to be well versed in theology. . .
however, this morning ( or yesterday morning i forget) on z100, Danielle was going on and on about how it is the conception of Jesus - and she goes to church every single sunday!
it is actually the conception of Mary in St Anne's belly without original sin. . .
anyway, it is so not important but i feel if you are on the RADIO and just blabbing things that you should kind of make sure that you are right. . . and maybe someone who goes to church every sunday would know this!
THEN she actually was saying oh well today is the conception and his birthday is the 25th - she wasnt pregnant the whole nine months like normal pregnancies - UM HELLO? the Church PICKED these dates ( these dates didnt even exist then) Christmas was picked to coincide with pagan rituals to make it easier on the new converts. . .
anyway it annoyed me . . . had to share!
