I'm not a Colts fan but we have to love our 'Manning' brothers (FH is a GIANTS fan). He was truely a MAN and showed his emotion, love it!

Re: NWR: Peyton Manning
I know!! I cried when he was talking during the press conference! We are huge Giants fans too and I just felt so bad for him and even the owner of the Colts got choked up too. The manning brothers are both such nice guys. FH was saying that he hopes there is a sports figure like him around when we have kids so that they can have a good role model like him and I was like that is so cute lol.

Re: NWR: Peyton Manning
I'm just very worried about him for this season. I'm a Cowboys fan (slim chance of us signing him), but there are definitely some concerns for me. There is talk of him going to the Jets, which IMO would be the worst place for him. Their offensive line can't protect Sanchez, so it sure as heck isn't going to be able to protect Manning - and all it takes is one good sack to mess his neck up again. Hopefully a team with a better offensive line takes him, though I can't see him lasting too many more seasons (due to age and whatnot). Who knows. I think the Colts kind of did him wrong, but who can blame them when they have a shot at a QB like Luck?

Re: NWR: Peyton Manning
I boycott sports when things like this happen! I hate when atheletes become part of a team and they are ripped out of that family. I undertand why they did it, and I know he will find a home and I pray the o line will keep him safe but it is sad. I am a Patriots fan and I know there is no chance we will get him. But FH is a Raiders fan.... maybe....

OMG FH is a HUGE Cowboys fan!! Whenever he watches it I sit there and TRY to pay attention but all I see is a whole bunch of overweight guys in spandex running into each other. FH says I need to stop looking at their butts

that was TOTALLY me 2 seasons ago! I could not get into it or learn the rules. I learned everything watching FH play Madden on xbox and now I have full on convos with my 4th and 5th graders on Monday mornings during the season

They said there is a 'slim to no chance' he will go to the JETS, although I am a fan. FH and I would each have a Brother then LOL
I think it'll be Miami.
And I agree with Kat... it's said that he just got cut from his Family!

Re: NWR: Peyton Manning
In a perfect world, the Jets would like to add a healthy Manning. But they don't have cap room and have already invested in QB Mark Sanchez for at least one more year.
The Dolphins have the interest, money and surrounding talent to make Manning-to-Miami a reality. Miami is one of the favorites and eagerly awaits Manning's potential release.
While Manning isn't a very good fit physically for Mike Shanahan's system and Robert Griffin III and Ryan Tannehill may be better options overall, Washington is certainly an aggressive team that could land Manning. Stranger things have happened.

Re: NWR: Peyton Manning
haha these posts were great to read lol. My FH is OBSESSED with all sports, he is a walking sports almanac its pretty crazy. He is a Buffalo Bills fan ( i know i know lol) but I feel the same way, when we met I had not a idea about football and now I am like yelling at the TV on Sundays LOL
