I made lasagna which came out delish BTW with fake meat. Both FH and my father were eating it and kept saying how good it was. Should I tell them that it was fake meat? It was mom's idea! They have no idea.

Ha ha! FH did that to his grandfather who always swore he would 'Never eat that vegetarian junk!'
He ended up loving it, until FH told him the truth. lol

You should wait until next time youre going to make it .. Then say before you serve them that its vegetarian .. when they say they dont like that then tell them they already loved it!
