NWR: please be careful when driving!!!!!!

FH's best friend is a tow-truck driver, and was almost killed the other day. he was stopped on the side of the LIE, waiting to tow a car which had broken down, when a driver who was fiddling with his ipod veered off the road. he just jumped out of the way in time, onto the hood of his tow-truck, when the car hit. if he didn't see it coming at him in time he would have been dead.

i am guilty of texting or playing with the radio while driving...and this story really scared me. i am going to be more conscientious from now on of the road when driving.

ahhh see i always yell at FH he texts and goes through his ipod while driving, it seriously drives me insane, its like PLEASE STOP!!!

it's scary when you think about how many people do this - cell phones, ipods, car radio, cigarettes! it's so easy to get distracted for just one split second - it can change your life forever.

Wow, scary. FH and I don't have texting..I personally find it useless. As for Ipods...I don't have one either..the radio in the car is enough for me. My dad always told me that if I broke down on the highway, to pull as far away as possible and get out and walk to the nearest street if it's going to be a while...scary!
