Besides the fact that I stress about everything, but I keep breaking out like a HS teenager. My hormones are going nutty & i Haven't gotten my period in over 2 months....I have been using a few over the counter skin cleaners & scrubs.
1-Anyone know of any really good over the counter skin care products i can use to get rid of this, for oily & dry skin types.
2-Can a preg test lie???

As far as I know...the preg test CANNOT give you a false positive. I guess that means that there might be a chance about false negative??? I also know that the more you get anxious about it...the more it will NOT come. Try and de-stress for a bit and see if things get better!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

If you are stressed out like it sounds you are, sometimes your period won't come-- I haven't been on the pill for a while cause it made me sick and every month I think I'm preg but I'm not cause I stress out about it and my period doesn't come. Try to relax and not think about it-- work out, drink lots of wine and think about other stuff.

Stress can definitely be the reason that your period didn't come, but depending on when you took the test (time of day...morning is best, time of the week etc) the results could vary. When in doubt, go to a doctor. That way you can put your mind at ease.
You can always try different birth control to get rid of some acne. I like the clean and clear line myself...the toner, spot treatment, wash/scrub/ and the other stuff.

yeah it could definately be the stress!!! It happens to me too, when I'm stressing my period will just not come. But yeah if you really think that you're preg, go see a doctor asap.... I suggest using aveeno products I live by that product its a life saver

I always watched the late nate infomercials and always wanted to order but never did because it's like $50 for the whole kit. Then my acne got bad for a little while and was terrified of scarring and I told my mom. By coincidence she saw the commercials too and called up the # and ordered it for me. (she's so cute..I can't picture my mom who hardly speaks English ordering on the phone...lol). I've been using it for 2 months now and it's unbelieveable I can't say enough about it. I swear I noticed a difference right away. IMO it's worth the $$.

preg test can be inacurate at first. I took 3 once and the 3rd said positive. Depends on how your body produces that hormone. Blood test is most accurate. I went through this about 3months ago, I think it's just stress. I've heard good things about proactive. I even know someone who would mix it in with foundation and swore by it.

try not to stress that much, and i know that is hard. just relax and take a day to yourself and just breathe.....i hope everything gets better for you...we are here if you need us

Definitely have the doctor do a blood test tomorrow. I agree with those who say not to stress too much!! You will be able to deal with whatever happens. And you know that we are all here for you if you need us.
As for skin care products, I like Clinique's Acne Solutions Spot Healing Gel. It's great for getting rid of pimples.

Back in the day at my 1st job i worked at some greasy pretzel place in the mall food court.... and my face broke out BIG time... the dermatologist recommended this soap called... CETAPHIL i still use it to this day.... its very soft and cleansing... and u can buy it at any cvs eckerd or walgreens... maybe even walmart.... after using it on a reg basis it works GREAT
I heard great things about proactiv too but I know its a little more costly...
As far as your pd.... def. go to the dr. Whenever I am stressed i skip a month or two, im sure everything is fine... but have him take a blood test!

At the Queens Center Mall they have a booth and that is where I bought it (save on shipping and handling). My younger brother uses it and I saw a huge improvement in 2 days. It really works!!

I was going to buy Proactive but I found a similar product called Acnefree at CVS which on the box it say compare to proactive. It worked in less than a week my skin is in perfect condition now. It is a three step just like proactive and has the same active ingredients. and was only 20.99

This isn't something over the counter BUT...almost 3 years ago my skin was out of control! I started going for facials and it really calmed my skin down. I also started using the Sothy's line...which is sold by my facialist and its awesome..but very pricey.
