FSIL is coming to visit us on Fri, and we are going to a party.... of course she calls me frantic today bc she doesn't know what to dress up as. she wanted to be minnie mouse but can't find any sort of polka dot shirt that will work.
Of course she tells me I need to think of something for her lol
Any ideas for something you can pull out of your closet, maybe with a little craftyness involved?
I get the feeling she wants to go as somthing 'cute' or 'pretty', not really scary or funny....

FH and I went as white trash and it was really easy to throw together... we just needed to get that wax to make it look like we were missing teeth and the house dress...I made it look like I was prego and I was super comfy and warm all night!!! Best costume I had yet!!!
Go to your local Eckerd or Rite Aid--they have costumes 50% off. I just bought butterfly wings and then I'm going to wear all black and wear a black headband with pipe cleaners attached as antennas.
Don't worry--You can definitely find something though!!! :)

I am going as Amy Winehouse. Easiet costume ever. Have her get a beehive wig and fake tattoos. Then throw on ballet flats, skinny jeans and a wife beater.

We're being 80's rockers...FH is wearing white t shirt, tight jeans, leather jacket, and is wearing my long red wig and I'm going to do some wicked motely crue/poison makeup on him. I'm being his groupie wearing blank tank, denim jacket, black leggings and ankle boots, and really gaudy short tight skirt over it. Best part is I just need to tease my hair a TAD more than usualy
