she has a 18 month old and her and her husband are being kicked out of her apartment because the landlord is selling his other house and needs to move his daughter in. They have been the worst landlords ever and now this!!! she doesn`t have the money for a depost anywhere or security being that she didn`t get any notice as to when she`d have to leave (they want her out NOW!!!) so if anyone knows of anything pleaseeeeeee let me know!! She can afford between 800-900 a month

sorry, i can't help. but i thought i should mention look at craigslist. it's probably going to be difficult to find a 1 bedroom for that price though, unless she lives far out on the island.
maybe they can stay with family for 1 month to save enough $ for a security deposit. also, did she give her current landlord a security deposit...if yes, she should be getting that money back (hopefully)

she lives in middle island now. the only family she has around is her grandma who said no!! so she`s kinda out of options. she did not have to put a deposit down on the place she is in now because the landlord was a friend of mines father. we have checked craigslist a few times althogh there are some good prices they all require a depoist and security! it`s harder then i thought! thanks for responding!

maybe she can explain the situation to the places you've found and they can work out a payment plan with her for the deposit and security?

yeahh i suggested the same....i said there has to be someone out there that would be willing to work with them and incorporate the security into the first few months rent! yeahhh she said that she is going to push to stay untill the end of april and say she`s going to call the town and see what he has to say.

Yep, she should tell the landlord he has to give her the time to find a new place.

thanks!! i hope so too!! things may be looking up just slightly! she needed a job as well on top of all this and a babysitter when she found the job and we may have found the job part at least!
