NWR-PMDD

I went to the gyno a few weeks ago for a regular check up etc and I told her I get horrible PMS which I do, and FH pretty much bears the brunt of it. I get really depressed and extremely moody. Its so bad even my co-workers notice it-and they're all guys too.One of them went so far to say ' i know when you're on it Donna I can just tell' ugh whatever.

So the doctor said I might have PMDD.. and wrote a perscription for serafem(its a generic prozac). You take it 2 weeks before you get your period. I havent yet, but do any of you get horrible PMS like I do? I dont know anyone who's been told they might have it. I really didnt think it was THAT bad...

a friend of mine has PMDD.... it was really very serious!!!!!!! she felt HORRIBLE around her period.... taking the BC Pill YAZ has been a godsent for her.... it has controlled her hormones and she feels sooo much better!

Yuuup, I get it wicked bad. I'm already on the pill and it does nothing for the depression/crazy biatch portion of it although it does help with the cramps a little. My gyno also recommended prozac, but Im really scared to take any of those mood drugs so I haven't done it yet. Im really trying not to be such a psycho around my PMS time but i feel like i can't help it. Thats probably not much help, but just know you've got someone in the same boat as you!
