Okay so all our money has been going to the wedding and Im beginning to really feel broke. I have been considering getting a second job...technically I work a second job with newsday but its only on Saturdays for 2 hours.
Anyway if you answered yes to the poll where do you work, how many hours does it involve and would you consider the pay worth it?

My second job is as a veterinary technician -- it doesn't pay nearly as much as my full-time job, but I do it because I love it!

I work a 2nd job p/t after f/t job. 2/3days a week at Roosevelt Field. I feel the pay is decent considering I dont do much

I was thinking about getting a retail job for a couple of months...like in the mall or whatever. But to be honest, I hate walking to my car alone at night and that is when Id have to work
Anyone know of any companies that allows data entrying at home, or something along those lines? Id love to do that for some extra cash.

I actually just quit my 3rd job. Not enough time to spend with FH and the kids.
I am an independant candle consultant and I get paid extremely well. Between my 2nd job and FH 2nd job, we should be able to afford rent afford this shinding is done. Every time I turn around the costs go up.
Seriously, FM if you want more info. You make your own hours and the people are great.

I work every other Sunday at a store in Soho - they pay me under the table, cash - so it's not bad. It's my wedding 'play' money for all the little extras.

FI and I both work as bartenders on weekends to pay for the wedding. After that, we will probably continue doing it to add to downpayment money for house.

My 2nd job is in a doctors office. He pays me pretty good and all I do is sit there.

I used to have a 2nd job but after 2 years of getting screwed with taxes I quit. I realized I didn't miss the money! (well, maybe a little )

i voted no, but i did work a second job briefly, between the end of sept and mid december. i will most likely do it again this year, stores are always hiring for the holidays. but i would not do it year round....just too much

I could barely make it to work 5 days a week! Love where I work but difficult getting motivated to work more than 5 days straight. I suggested getting a part time job on weekends not too long ago...My FI flat out laughed in my face!

mine is at a temple with the 6-8th grade youth group. i was/am contracted in this school year an they just asked if i would like to renew for next year.
it is a 10 month contract and i do about 1 event a month sometimes 2 and for THAT time committment they pay AWESOME! originally i did it just for the wedding, but i kind of got used to it and i like it alot
