So I'm watching my nephew for my sister for a few hours. I got here at 2 and he is still sleeping....I was hoping he would be awake when I got here b/c he usually does a gigantic poop after his nap....
I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pray for me

i can proudly say that i have never, ever changed a diaper. i have 2 nieces & a nephew & refused to change their diapers & now that they are all potty trained, i refuse to wipe their butts. my SIL always get on me for it, saying how its good practice & i tell her that when i have my own kids i will figure it out.

ITA - Pee diapers I can tolerate....My nephew was 14 months before he peed on me for the first time...I thought that was a big accomplishment LOL

that is a great accomplishment. my nephew pee'd on me when i changed him, when he was still in the hospital. that was the first & last diaper i ever changed.

I change em all the time, it's not too bad! Until he puts his hands in it b4 you get a chance to clean it. Then, his hands try to find their way to your face and his hair, clothes, etc. Or worse, he'll start a new poop while the pamper is open from the first one. Wait, ok, it's bad!

i had a deal with FH; he would never have to change a poop diaper, if & only if he changed the cat box. we agreed. then about a year after his cat was living with us, he was sick during the summer & the box was really bad. so he begged me to change it, i reminded him about our agreement & he paid me $40 to change the box, just to keep the agreement.

with boys the trick is to undo the diaper, open it then close it immediately! the second the air hits his little wanker, something causes them to pee... not 100% of the time, but often enough. same thing with bath time.
but as for changing poop diapers, that doesn't bother me.. its when they get it up their back and on their clothes and you are trying to clean EVERYTHING while holding a child down on a changing table with one hand.. thats when its tough, but you gotta do what you gotta do...
FFIL never changed any of his sons diapers, first diaper he ever changed was his 2nd grandson.
FH to this day has never changed a diaper, he wont even take one and throw it out in the garbage while I wrestle his niece (or in the past his nephews). And he swears he'll never change our kids, he said he'll let them sit in it till I get home.
