NWR - poor little puppy... UPDATE
my little Bailey (well she isn't so little - but anyway) started throwing up last night and DROOLING like an M-Fer... I put her to bed to find her in the same if not worse state than the night before...
so I take her to the vet and she got her butt poked with all sorts of things
got blood drawn
, electrolyte pouches injected under her skin (she looks like Quasimodo)![]()
, antibiotic shots ![]()
![]()
and pepsid ac shot![]()

...
she's so miserable - and usually bi-atch about how NUTS she is - that I miss her crazy ways... and it's only been one day. I want her to sleep with me, but with all the drooling she's doing I'm afraid I might drown... My other dog is trying to lay with her and lick her face (it's so cute) - he knows something is up with her - but we can't until we know what she's got...
I get the blood test results tomorrow AM - hopefully she's alright... FH and I are so worried about her - I never thought I would feel like this over an animal... I'm afraid what's gonna happen when I have kids...
Sorry I had to let it out...
ETA: So, I called the vet yesterday and Bailey's kidney functions levels are above normal - but not to be worried about, she has high calcium and phosphate levels - but she said since she's only 8 months old, it may just be a 'puppy thing' (apparently not UNcommon)... so I have to keep her on a 'bland diet'
She won't eat the cr@p they gave me -
and to watch her attitude - if she become lethargic or seems in pain.
Fast forward to last night - she's her normal self, running around after the little one and jumping all over the place ... but she's better, and FH and I are very happy - except for her CRAZINESS!!! But hey! She's a puppy!![]()
