Hi ladies! I just got a job teaching universal pre-k. Unfortunately start up costs were cut from the grant. If anyone knows of any local garage sales (Islip area) please let me know! Or if anyone knows anyone getting rid of stuff. Looking for books, puzzles, blocks, play sets, kitchen set, manipulatives, toys, etc.

Booo to budget cuts! Don't they know you need those things to do your job? *sigh*
I'll keep an eye out! Have you tried Salvation Army? They sometimes have some good stuff.

theres always a garage sale on the block before applebees in east islip off of the service road. and there are a few that happen on 111 alot!

I think I have a ton of puzzles (wooden Melissa & Doug) I'm getting rid of, I kept them aside for my niece, but never ended up giving them to her. I'll check when I get home and report back! I'll FM you if I still have them, I'm not far (North Babylon).

I used to teach prek and now work as a clinical behavior specialist. I have TONS of stuff. I am in the process of moving if you want fm me type number and ill text you when I have all my prek stuff together and you can come take what you want! :)
