I LOOOOVE Proactiv! FH and I both use it and it is so great! I used to not break out either, then I moved and started breaking out a lot so I started using it. At first it dried my skin out quite a bit, which I hear happens often when you first start using it. After a while my skin got used to it and its now perfectly clear! Well, except for the few rando zits that pop up around that time of the month, but they even make a refining mask that clears those puppies up overnight too! So I highly recommend it!!

You will definitely see a change within a week or two! You will be so surprised at how quickly it works and how much of the redness will be gone and your pores will clear up in no time! I think after the first trial it is $40 a month, but it is definitely worth it to stick with it!

girls thanks so much i hear great things on the commercial but you never know if its true.. and FH has terrible acne but claims nothing will help it.. his dermatologist has tried everything so im hoping that if it works on me he'll want to use it also!

yeah i never had one either when i was a teenager, i started getting it in my mid 20's, alot of females get it in their 20's...i used proactiv and it worked great, it will also take away any blackheads on your nose if you have any and not only make the pimples go away but make your skin look great...But you have to stick to the routine, every morning and night, dont skip it

I've been using proactive for years. I think even if you don't' have skin problems its a good cleanser - the toner is my favorite. I absolutely love it!

i am not a fan of protactiv...I have used every product and when i tried proactiv it made my skin really dry and red and i actually broke out more...
I tried mario bedescu products (he has an add in cosmo mags for the pimple healing cream) and I swear by them...My skin is clear, the oil free moisturizer is awesome, and they have something for all skin types. Proactiv is refundable so thats always a plus..

proactiv didn't work for my friends either, so i guess it depends on the person.

See i have all of mario badescu's products and they didn't work that great for me, the pink cream is good sometimes

but with proactiv you should always moisturize your face, especially the first time you use it, after that your skin won't get dry anymore...I use cetaphil and its great

I actually tried it & it made my skin so dry and red dry patches all over and didn't even clear up the pimples. I know it works for a lot of people but not for me.

I tried it and it made my skin dry and patchy and caused acne cysts (which I never had before). It may have been too harsh for my skin. I still use the mask sometimes if I get a pimple and it zaps it away by the next day. I like the toner too. FH uses it and likes it.

I'm a noxema girl and I use the mary kay microderm abrasion exfoliater. That's the only thing tht seems to work fr me.

I would try it and just watch your skin to see how you react- it may work for you.

Didn't work for me, I started breaking out in a rash when I first started. They sent me a new kit for sensitive skin but I was so disgusted I never really used it.

Yeah people have also said use toothpaste so listerine and scope must have the same ingredients to kill germs and the face has many germs and bacteria on it

How does Proactiv work with guys? My FH has had issues with acne for years and tried a whole variety of things. I’ve heard and seen great stuff about Proactiv but don’t really know how to broach the subject with him.

its supposed to work the same for guys.

ANother great thing is shots they inject into your face for acne, if its an ongoing problem for years i would suggest that...you get it just a few times and it completely clears and will stay clear.
