Can someone tell me of a good place to look for puppies. im starting to look online, but feel very overwheled. and i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for one. thanks !

Check local rescue organizations. Like if you want a French Bulldog (my next dog!!!) google French Bulldog rescue. Breeders are going to charge you a lot. I paid $1000 for my mini schnauzer. Whatever you do don't go to the pet stores in the malls. Those dogs are all from puppy mills. Be careful if you go to a shelter, my co-worker got a dog from North Shore last Thursday and it collapsed on Saturday, turns out it has pneumonia!!!! (Just make sure it's healthy)

North Shore! I used to volunteer there. Honestly, don't buy form puppy stores; a lot of them are from puppy mills. Adopt a puppy!! They need good homes!!!!!!

I just adopted a puppy from Little Shelter in Huntington. We had to pay a $175 adoption fee. Look on petfinder- there are a lot of shelters on there with really cute puppies

Oh I didn't mean anything negative towards North Shore... I think like people dogs get sick around this time of the year too... I feel so bad for her and she wishes she had gotten the pup checked out right away because there might have been something they could have done had they caught it right away. She's so upset
For a pit pull puppy try rescue ink!!! A few people I know at work know them and they usually have tons of pit rescues!!! Some of the guys were hanging out in our suite at Jones Beach last summer, they're pretty cool guys and doing a great thing!!!

i bought my theodore from doggydoggy in lil neck on northern blvd. nothing but great things about them!!! alllllllll the ppl that purchased dogs from there bring them to get groomed and they all say wonderful things.

I got my dog from North Shore and I couldnt be happier. He's always been healthy and he's super cute!

I just adopted a pit bull puppy from the little shelter...there was a litter of them there...they are 9 weeks old and they are the cutest thing! The adpotion fee is only $175...we got a grey female but there were tan colored ones there too
