NWR: Question about your FH

Original post by AllyDrew1108

I posted this on the regular boards and not one person had a funny thing to say...

Does your FH have any little habits - good or bad- that you joke with him about?

Mine were:

1. He never changes the toilet paper roll.
2. For some weird reason, always leaves his socks under the coffee table.
3. Stuffs his wet towel into the towel bar and it never dries.
4. Loves to put the empty Britta back into the fridge instead of filling it.

Oh and another problem I have with OCD. I can't start cooking until the dishes are washed. What is wrong with me? I hate cooking with dirty dishes in the sink.

I wash them as I'm cooking. I HATE a mess when i'm in the kitchen cooking dinner. and as soon as we're done eating i'm rushing around to clean it up and i never leave the dishes in the sink. They have to be in the dishwasher (or i'll just quickly wash it myself) FH of course would leave them on the kitchen table if he could lol

Wow i feel better after reading this. I thought i was the only one with a FH with a sock problem...he takes them off when he gets home and stuffs them in the couch cushions...no clue why!

always leaves wet towels on the bed
never can put dishes in the dishwasher
never puts a trash bag back in the garbage can after taking out the garbage
Probably lots more those are just some off hand..

Re: NWR: Question about your FH

Umm most of your are about cleaning and organizing things...but mine is kinda dumb.

One day I was feeling sad and yucky so he did that stupid 'I got your nose' thing and put his thumb between his two first fingers..like you do to little kids and it made me laugh.

So...now he does it constantly. and in front of people and if we're driving..he pretends to throw it out the window. Or he'll put 'my nose' in his pocket.

Hi, I'm not 3 years old!! It was cute the first time..now it's annoying!! Sometimes i just say, 'thats not my nose, it's your thumb' and he gets a sad look and is like 'why won't you play?'

YES! My things are: Bed has to be made as soon as I get up!! I have no idea why, I never did that until I moved out of my mom's house in my 20s!

I also have to: close the shower curtain after my shower and hang the damp bathroom rug over the tub so it dries and all towels must be hanging. I also like to have all dishes washed when I go to work in the morning and I hate overflowing garbage cans! I get crazy about that for some reason. I have issues.

I love how some of the girls have these OCD guys, I think that's so cute. That's how I am!

I'm only OCD about one thing..THE BED!! It has to be made the moment I get up in the morning. I cant like get up, go to the bathroon, eat breakfast, shower etc. it NEEDS to be done right as I step out of it lol if it was up to FH, it would be left undone allllllll day

lol in the morning i rush so much that i leave my house unfinished lol, i usually end up having to do my make up on the train, so making the bed is not an option lol

1-the bed has to be made before he goes to bed, meaning even if its unmade and hes about to go to sleep, he has to make the bed and lay down like that first then later on get under the covers, i find this weird.

2-everything has to be folded HIS way, even if you do it exactly like him he doesnt care he'll unfold it and do it himself

3-every hanger in the closet has to face the same way, and everything is in order by type of clothes it is, colors, designer and whatever else lol(i am the opposite so for me this is like )

i have more i have to think about it

OMG - OCD!!!

FH:

1. Scratches my legs with his toenails when he sleeps.
2. puts wet towels on the bed!!!
3.leaves beer bottle caps on the counter RIGHT NEXT to the garbage instead of just tossing them in the trash!
4. leaves his finger/toe-nail clippings on my nightstand to gross me out
5. shuts off his alarm clock and goes back to sleep and then wakes up 1/2 later upset that it 'didnt go off!'

hes crazy

He has this insane obsession with clipping his nails. the nail clipper is always on the bathroom counter and anytime he goes into the bathroom for ANY reason, he clips his nails... they are so short and i am constantly cleaning up the little pieces off the sink!!!

HOLYYYY MY FH CLIPS EVERYTHING.....he knows to do it when im not home........or he goes in the bathroom and puts the vent on so i cant hear it makes me Cringe!

FH clips his nails at the freakin coffee table in our living room, and then leaves the freakin nail particles on the table!!! This is sooooo freakin gross, and he knows I'm totally skeeved by it, so he threatens to do it more often just to mess with me!

He also does the dishes, and then NEVER empties the gook out of the drain.. also just gross.

He farts all the time, and thinks its hysterical. I swear he holds it in just till hes around me to let it loose.

Yeah... I guess its normally to be completely dry, but he MAKES LOVE to his toes to get them dry, it's a sick and twisted ritual lol.... and it takes about 5 minutes to complete.
