I just got called to interview for student teaching next week. Didn't know I'd be interviewing and feel totally unprepared. Does anyone know what kind of questions they're going to ask and what to expect? TIA

Re: NWR: Question for teachers
its not a big deal. they do interviews to see how comfortable you are. i had to do an interview for student teaching as well and it was no biggie. i wore a nice suit and was prepared with all my education knowledge that i just learned in college. don't sweat it, it will be a good experience, trust me

Re: NWR: Question for teachers
depends- they could ask questions like your experience, background, education, etc. or they may ask 'what would you do in this situation' types of questions. like 'how would you handle a class with esl students?' etc etc use words like collaborate, differentiate, flexible, and dont be afraid to say you would ask for help, guidance, and/or assistance to learn the ropes. no principal is looking for a robot- they just want to know you are there to do your #1 job- help the kids. and smile, smile smile. good luck!!!
