NWR: Questions about Fostering a Dog
Hi Ladies,
You guys seem to know the answers to everything so I wanted to ask a couple of questions about fostering a dog
Our Buddy passed away on Wednesday and I have to say that out apartment feels VERY empty without him.
I was talking to my husband and I asked him to think about maybe fostering a dog one day.
Does the organization usually pay for vet bills if there is an emergency?
How long does the dog stay with the foster families (i know its until the dog gets adopted, but around how long does that take?).
Are we allowed to travel with the dog (DH and I go out to PA every weekend to his parent's vacation home and we always brought Buddy with us).
Who takes care of buying the food?
if there are events for adoption are the foster parents allowed to be there or do we drop the dog off and have the organization take care of everything.
