Ok you know how I told you girls that I had an interview and I was exited and nervous and blah blah blah. Well I drove to it to do a trial run and I thought it waas weird b/c it was in an office building but you had to walk to the side of the building and walk up the stairs to get to it. I thought it was weird and not professional but FH told me I was just worrying and it was no big deal. I was like ok baby but in the back of my mind I was worried and I didnt no why. I kept thinking it wasa scam or I would think to everybody loves raymond when robert wanted to be a model but he went into the company and noone was there. Well lol that what I kept thinking about, So being I felt this way after FH left I decided to do research on the company. well I did a search for it the companty is Dynasty marketing in smithtown right next to james cress florist. Anyway I found to really bad reviews from employees that had worked for them. These are the links: http://www.jobster.com/at/company/Dynasty+Marketing
Im soo upset. I dont know why but I was sooo exited about this interview the place seemed cool and it jsut seemed like a good job. Now I dont even know if its worth going to the interview. Any advice you ladies have for me would be helpful or if anyone has heard anything about the company please let me know. :( thanks xoxo

Honestly, if you feel funny there's a reason. Go with your gut - do you need the money that badly? Something better will turn up!

I agree that if you have a bad feeling, don't bother. You can get another interview elsewhere.
girl I know how you feel...I'm jobless, broke and so down, I want to work in a private school and it just seems impossible so I'm at a point where I'll do anything while I finish my masters

Ooh those reviews don't sound good.
At least now that you know this in advance you could go to the interview to get experience... and then if it seems shady just turn them down.

I am going to be honest but this does not sound good at all. Plus, your instinct should be followed. I wouldn't do it. There will be plenty of interviews. What do you see yourself doing? Maybe I could hoook you up.

I am sooo sorry to hear the news!!!
I wouldn't go. I am sure something much better will turn up in time. I am going to try to do some more research for you.

I dont want to scare you, but fh went to a job interview (FINALLY) and we were all excited. Then he looked up the place and found out they basically don't pay you, because they make you take classes THROUGH THEM and give up your pay checks etc. BE CAREFUL... if you feel its wrong like he did, your conscious is usually right (just remember jimminey cricket)

i seriously just had this happen to me! I got a call for an interview at a daycare and they wanted me to do an hour observation of the class..and the whole time i just had this bad feeling..like it wasn't right. And then i heard people say that they don't run it very well as so on..so i declined the position. I'm jobless and broke right now..but i'd rather wait for an awesome job and settle for something that isnt going to make me happy in the long run.

I know that company, or at least I think I do . . . it's not an interview, it's more like a seminar to convince you to sell their stuff.
BUT, I agree, go, and you can walk out if it's what I think it is. I agree, it sounds shady and I am 99.9 percent sure it's the same company I 'interviewed' with like 15 years ago during a Summer home from school!

If you have nothing else to do tomorrow, go to the interview just to see what its all about...then figure it out from there...you don't want to miss an oppurtunity and always think 'what if' at least if you go and find out its shady -at least you know!
