NWR: Really worried- FI may have had a minor heart attack!***UPDATE***Your not gonna believe it!
My FI has been complaining about having chest pains lately- to make a long story short, he went to go see a cardiologist and they have done x-rays, stress test, etc. and he has to go back tomorrow. Well anyways, the doctor said that he may have had a minor heart attack a little while ago and that there is something in his artery that they have to remove. They said they would need to do surgery just to clean out the artery and that it only lasts about an hour. After that everything would be find. They said they weren't doing open heart surgery...they were just going to make an insision by the stomach and get a tube to clean it out. The doctor said it may have been due to all that stupied crap he took to work-out over the years...you know hydroxcut- stacker, etc. I wanted to kill him when he told me today. The jerk still smokes. Oh my God...he driving me nuts.
My father goes to a cardiologist and has had surgery done 3 times. I want him to go get a second opinion, but I'm afraid that time is of the essence...What do you think? My FI told me that he saw one of the girls from sex in the city at the cardiologist today. I mean it's surgery- a second opinion is best, right? He doesn't want to say anything to his family because he doesn't want them to worry. Doesn't this seem a bit odd to you though? Maybe I'm just in denial. We're suppose to go on vacation next week also- but screw that I rather he go see another cardiologist and see what they say and if anything have the surgery done. What would you do? I feel so worried. The cardiologist told him not to drink- and he was saying, I have to drink at our e-party this Sat.. I told him, I won't drink either. I'll be knocking drinks out of his hand on Saturday at the e-party. Tough Luck.

UPDATE-
So my FI went to go see the cardiologist again today and he said that the artery is only 20% clogged and that he shouldn't worry and that everything will be ok. My father has had about 3 or four angioplasty's with arteries up to 98% clogged. So if my father has done so well...my FI has to!
We also decided to just reschedule the trip to another week- thankfully we had insurance. My FI said the doctor showed him the X-ray's, etc...and showed him where the blockage was. I still want him to go and get a second opinion this Monday. I told him to schedule the surgery for Wed. as per his current cardiologist.
I was so upset today at work. I mean it got to the point in which I didn't even want to go to my own e-party. Seriously. My FI's family is just so annoying, especially his ollllder sister. They are all so dependent on him. It just makes me so angry. I feel like there aggravation has also contributed to his stress. Boy did I vent to my two best-friends. Later on after I got back from work we also went to the Sand Castle- eventually I began getting more excited about it. I just want him to get well. I'll try to report back tomorrow...it's getting late right now and I gotta wake up early cause it's my E-PARTY...![]()

Please keep my FI in your prayers...he is such a beautiful person who would give anything to anyone, even if it were a stranger. He doesn't deserve this. I wish I could do something to make it go away. Life is so weird...one minute it's like nothing could stop you and then all of a sudden you realize that in a split second it just changed dramatically. I love you all for your support. 2ND UPDATE-
Last week me and my FI were fighting because I wanted him to go and get a second opinion. I told him not to come by my house unless he went to another doctor. HE NEVER DID! Well, I've been crying all last week over this crap. So this past Sunday me and my FI make up over the phone and I told him my concerns and what not. So he promised he'd go see a cardiologist....OHHHH HERE'S WHERE IT GET'S BETTER.
He then calls me about 30 minutes later and tells me that he hasn't been honest with me. Make a long story short, he tells me that he did go see a cardiogist and that they were running test and everything to make sure he didn't have a clogged artery. The cardiologist basically said that he may have been having PANIC ATTACKS due to the stress he was under at work and at home (everyone in his house depends on him). I was thrilled and happy to know that everything was ok with him- but pissed because he had me flipping out over this. He told me that he was embarrased to tell me because the MD suggested that he go and talk to someone. I told him all he needs to do is talk to me and that's it and that I didn't think he was nuts at all. The biggest problem my FI has is that he thinks that because he's a man he should be able to handle it. He has a tendency to keep things bottled up because he doesn't want to concern anyone. Thankfully he's ok. Could you believe men! I told him, so you rather have me thinking you needed an angiogram rather than have a panic attack! I've had panic attacks and I betcha everyone has had one in there lifetime. MEN! Thanks for all your support ladies- it meant soooo very much!
