NWr - recommend a digital camera

Hello ladies. I am looking for a new digital camera. I want something small that takes high res pics.

I would like it to be pretty user friendly.

Any suggestions?

OMG I just went to best buy the other day and I saw this super small camera that is 12 megapixels and takes awesome pics. I think it was a Samsung 12.2 digital camera. It was awesome though I was taking pics in the store and I was surprised at the way they came out. It has a smart correct button that you press and you don't have to worry about the pics you take because it fixes everything. It was way nice

I love camera's and photography and I must say canon is the BEST IMO. The quality of the photos do not compare to other brand cameras.

I have 2 canons but one is about 5 years old and the other is the rebel. The older one is too large to fit in my tiny purses, and is a little older. Takes a long time to focus and gets unreliable with a low battery

And the rebel is just too large. Great for a tripod and staged photos or something important.

So, I am looking for more of a point and click for fun kind of camera.

I'm an amateur photographer and Canon is the only brand I'll buy (I also think highly of Nikon but learned on a Canon). I wouldn't veer from those 2 brands; cameras are what they do! Check out a Canon elph if you want a small camera.

I have the power shot SD750 Digital Elph and we love it! It fits in any bag and takes great pictures! FH and I are going to purchase the rebel next week- How do you like it?
