Every once in awhile, I have a dream about a bad plane crash. This has gone on for at least 6 or 8 years, but I used to have this dream maybe only once or twice a year.
I've had it three times in the past few weeks. I'm never in the crash, I just see the crash happening from either the passenger seat of a car or from a window in a building.
Anyone have insight on this? I've read that it means that inyour daily life, it means a loss of control but I don't feel like I'm losing control of anything...in fact, quite the opposite.
It's not fun though

Re: NWR: Recurring bad dream.
i've often heard that bad dreams mean actually that things are going well...if you think about maybe what that plane could represent for you, it could mean that a part of you that you don't need (something negative) is dying off to make room for things that are more useful in your life. sorry that sounds a little convoluted...but that's always how i look at dreams about disasters or deaths.

I've never heard that, but I think I'm going to adopt this as a way to put a fresh and positive focus on these kinds of dreams. Thanks - everything else I've read is on the negative side of things!
sometimes i try to relate the emotion that was conveyed during the dream to something thats going on in my life. like you might have been looking at the plane crash and seeing things spiraling out of control but your emotion was feeling stable and in control. i see that as a good sign- make sense?
