NWR: Restaurant help (NYC)

There are 8 of us going to see the Grinch on Saturday evening...we want to go to dinner afterwards and were planning on Carmine's but the earliest they have for 8 people is 9:30pm...that's too late, considering my grandmother will be with us. So, anyone have any suggestions on where we can go? I am saving little Italy as a last resort, I'd rather stay around mid-town or the theater district.

It needs to be reasonably priced, and nothing too out there. My sister is a chicken fingers, wings, spaghetti kinda girl. She's REALLY picky.

Thanks ladies!!!

(Also-- anyone know which restaurants in Little Italy take reservations?)

if you are looking for the family style, italian food experience, tony dinapoli's is similar to Carmines and right in that area.

a second vote for Tony Dinapolis!!!!! It is really yummy, too.
One of my other favorites is Molyvos....but that is Greek and if your sister is really picky that might not be an option.
Red Eye Grill is also really good........kind of $$$ but very delicous. I stay stick with tony dinapolis!
