Need a restaurant recommendation to take FH for dinner for his birthday
No steak No Seafood No Melting Pot, blech
Bay Ridge BK, Fresh Meadows, Queens Nassau and Western Suffolk all good.
I'd like a nicer restaurant, but I want to keep dinner under $150.
Tall order? Sorry

Try Bob's Place in Floral Park. The food is great and it has a nice atmosphere and a gas fireplace!

FH recently took me to Chat Noir in RVC. It was really good! They use to only do breakfast and lunch, but the dinner was excellent. And they are really sweet and the place itself is super cozy.

Mim's (Roslyn) Wild Honey (Oyster Bay!!!!) love this place...
New American... different combinations than your typical fare.
also agree with justnicethings' suggestion for West End Cafe! so good too.

Well than you have good taste ! lol oh wait you should go to Giardino's its another restaurant owned by Russo's if you tell them you are having your wedding there they may give you something free. the food is amazing especially there desserts ! its in douglaston on douglaston pkway
