I have used them and have never had a problem. They are usually for small unknown restaurants, not popular ones, but I like checking out new ones!

Thanks,

I just wanted to make sure before ordering. I think I´m going to try something out.

I've used them before and didn't have a problem. They also go on sale sometimes and you can get $25 certificates for $2. FH bought a bunch last year and we only used like 3 (he went a little overboard)

It's great, really no loopholes. The only thing to keep in mind is that you can only use one gc per month per restaurant (my mom got 4 $25 gc's to my parents' favorite restaurant, thinking they could use them together, but now they have to go once/month for 4 months to use them up!)

I can't tell you how much I love Restaurant.com I've used 2 gift certificates so far but I bought 4 all together. I have yet to use them. Maybe once I weigh a little less. I still have a year to use them.

I love restaurant.com. We don't use it that much any more because we're cutting down on eating out, but it's a great way to save money or try a new place with low risk. Each restaurant has their own stipulations though...some are lunch only, some have a min purchase amount, some not valid weekends, etc. And when you sign up for the email list you get the promo codes, I usually wait till it's the 70 or 80% off sales, and you get the cert for 2 or 3 bucks.
