NWR restaurants in Nassau

Hey Gals, mom and dad want to take me out this weekend while I am home for the big 3-0 to a nice place and I need some recommendations! Either Italian or American food since they are so picky. I know the traditional RVC places since thats where we usually go, but I'm looking for somewhere I haven't been yet, preferably south shore. Any suggestions would be most helpful! TIA!

how about Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City, they have super yummy Italian food

If you wanna go to a good BBQ place it isn't fancy but it is so damn good there, try smokin als!!!!!!!

Waterzooi if you like mussels? Novita is right next door, but have never been. The 5th season is amazing!

totally agree with Ren for Waterzooi! their mussels are out of this world! and the way they serve them is pretty unique, they give fries on top, I guess it's a Belgian thing.
