Any suggestions for a semi nice restaurant in Nassau county? FH is working nights so we can't really travel more than 20-30 minutes. I am tired of all the same restaurants and need to try something new and different. We seem to always wind up in Rockville Centre and I just need a change.
Any type of food is good, we like everything

On the Nassau Queens border is our FAVE restaurant, Trattoria Lucia in bellerose on Jericho Tpke. We also love Athenas for greek food on merrick. Its in amityville but its basically the border of nassau and suffolk. Salumi and Pheonix in massapequa for Tapas. il Felice and cara mia due in Seaford has good italian.
I'd love some new ideas too!

-Wild Ginger in Great Neck for Asian fusion -Cedar Creek in Glen Cove for American -Kotobuki in Roslyn for Japanese -New Chili & Curry in Hicksville for Indian -Sarin in Greenvale for Thai -La Parma in either Williston Park, Oceanside, Huntington, or Port Washington for family style Italian
That's all I can think of so far. Hope this helps!

lol - I like the Jolly Fisherman in Roslyn/Great Neck :) Depending on the time you go though it can kind of be an 'older' crowd.

Not sure where you live exactly and not sure what kind of food you like, but some of my favorites are Poco Loco in Roslyn, Louie's Oyster Bar & Grill in Port Washington, and the Fisherman's Catch in Point Lookout.

- Mio Posto in Hicksville for Italian or Stella's in Floral Park
- Frankly Thai in Franklin Square for thai food
- Orchid on Franklin Ave in Garden City for Chinese food
- For really good burgers at a non-fancy place I would definitely say All-American- but TR's pub in Williston Park is really good too
