Does anyone know any restaurants/bars in Great Neck? I am meeting a friend who lives in Queens and Great Neck is in between both of us. Nothing too fancy or expensive. Thanks.

I like Ethos, it's a greek restaurant, moderately upscale and has a nice bar. Prices aren't terrible considering.
I'm still partial to Pancho's if you like margaritas. Very casual, though.
If you're into Japanese food at all, go to Daruma (right on Middle Neck Road by the movie theater -- big parking lot right in the back). They have such fantastic food there, the Mets contracted with them as their sushi and Japanese food provider for the stadium (for years now).
I second Wild Ginger as well -- good asian fushion. Prices a little higher, but it's a fun atmosphere.
I grew up in Great Neck and my dad still lives there, but these are basically the places we frequent when we're in town now. FH loves Daruma so much, he sometimes requests it special.

if you are willing to meet her in Great Neck, I suggest you go five minutes more to Bayside and you'll have a ton of restaurants and bars.
