Re: NWR - RIP Golden Girl-- Bea Arthur
Just 3 days ago FH asked me if any other GG passed away besides sophia petrillo(i;m drawing a blank on her real name right now) and i said no the other three r going strong (we were watching the show as we were talking about it) n then i hear B arthur passed away!!! i am so sad..she was my favorite one!! her n sophia even though they r all so funny. but no one had the dry humor she had she was so talented..i am gonna miss her n it makes me sad that its an end of an era with these shows from the past =( i love that show and will continue to watch the re-runs every single day...R.I.P

Re: NWR - RIP Golden Girl-- Bea Arthur
I was really sad to hear this. Growing up, my sister and I always watched the GG with our Grandma...Saturday nights when she babysat while our parents went out. We lost our Grandma last year, so this brings back memories.
I loved that show! They were all hilarious but Dorothy was definitely my favorite. I loved her sarcasm especially when she was making fun of Rose's stupidity or ripping on her ex hubby Stan.
Someone put together this clip titled 'the best of Dorothy' on youtube.

And this has to be my favorite Golden Girls scene. I remember watching it as a little girl and not even knowing what a condom was but still managing to find it hilarious.
