NWR - - - rosacea

Do any of you lovely ladies have rosacea?!

I've had it for years and it has gradually become worse

I have a dr. appt tomorrow, but am wondering if anybody has found any inexpensive remedies that have worked for them.....

TIA

I don't have rosacea, but I am obsessed with the Dermatologist! I love my PA at my dermatologists office. She keeps my skin in check! If you want her info ill pass along.

I have it. I have used the OTC Eurcirin (spelled wrong?) Redness moisturizer, and it made my face breakout and very irritated. The only moisturizer I have found to not irritate my face is the Aveeno simply radiant brand. Right now I am trying the Bio Oil. It's only been a week, not too much of a different yet.
I did try Proacea, but I feel that didn't do anything. I'm thinking the sulfur in it has to be stronger. I did use an Rx but I forgot the name. That did work.
Hopefully your Dermatologist can give you something.

I have it and they say that it is made worse by alcohol and spicy foods. I cannot imagine giving those things up so I just end up using a green tinted moisturizer, Eucerin redness relief, which helps a little and I use bare essentuals makeup which covers well. Good luck

I also have it. I only wash my face with Cetaphil, nothing else. I've also tried Eucerin in the past and it didn't really help so much. Right now I'm on an Rx from my dermo. Its called Metrogel, you put it on 2x a day and its worked great for me!

I have it bad on my face and chest and my derm wouldn't give me anything except a quote for laser treatments! 800 per session and he thinks that I would need 2-3 sessions...and there is guarantee. :(

I have it and have for years I have tried all the creams and they just worked so-so. I found that it's due to what I eat, esp. mango's, red wine, pineapple, tomato paste are the worst offenders. I try to not eat any of those things (hard as it is, it makes a HUGE difference!). And gross as this may sound, I only wash my face with cetaphil every 3-4 days (I know...gross...gross..gross) but it helps SO much! I shower ever day but only rinse it with lukewarm water when I do.
I is such an annoyance, but my face looks SO much better!!!!!!
