NWR- San Diego??

NWR- San Diego??

FH and I are going to San Diego on vacation next week! We'll he's going to conference and I'm going on vacation.

I've never been there. Anyone have any suggestions- things to do (besides the zoo) Places to eat, things that are not to miss?

we were there a few years ago. it was soo nice we really went for the zoo but there downtown area is really nice, soory cant remember the street

Walk around and eat in the Gaslamp district. Good Food - Good Shops- what more could you ask for! Walk Balboa Park. Of course - the zoo. Drive over to Coronado Island. Check out Mission Beach or Pacific Beach if the weather is nice. Oh wait, the weather is always nice in San Diego!!!

Besides above (I used to live there, FM for questions), go to LaJolla and check out the seals off the pier, Chrystal Pier in Pacific beach is really pretty at sunset...LaHaina's too to watch a pretty sunset. Tons of shopping, Sea World is there too...hmmm anything else let me know!! You'll love it!!

I don't remember the name of the resturaunt, but there is an AMAZING Tapas Resturaunt in downtown San Diego, it is SO MUCH FUN!!!

Also, you should go to Old Town San Diego, it is an old mission town, very cute.
Def. try the fish tacos in SD, they are the best!
