NWR: Sangria

Do any of you ladies have a recipe for sangria? My mom is throwing my sister a graduation party this weekend and we wanted to make it, but I can't remember what to use!

This is what I do also. The Ed Hardy Sangria is so good.

I usually just throw things in until it tastes right:

red wine, grand marnier, peach or blueberry liquor, orange juice and apple juice, some ginger ale .. I skip the sugar because of the juices .. and cut up fruit (peaches, plums, apple, etc.)

So delish but it WILL sneak up on you!!

Re: NWR: Sangria

we went to grand lux and had an awesome white wine sangria that is awesome!!!!! so we recreated it lol

1 bottle pinot grigio
1 bottle priscecco
1 cup cointreau (or flavored snapps peach works well with white wine)
fruit of your choice

cut up the fruit and let in sit w/ cointreau for a few hours

add 1/2 bottle of priscecco to wine and then add fruit mix, add more prescecco after you taste it if you want it sweeter or not.

but be warned it really hits you lol

thats the easiest recipe i know, all the others are a pain lol at least this is easy to make on the moment if you run out.

also to cut cals. youu can make it with seltzer/club soda instead of priscecco

I usually buy it too and then put fruit in....The liquor store has a white sangria which is awesome bc when you get sloppy you wont make stains.

BJ's actually has the 1.5L bottles for 5.99.....pretty good stuff, I got massive amounts for my engagement party.
