i will be graduating in May & i am going crazy this semester. i have never had so much homework to do as i do this semester. to top it off i have to do a group project for a core music class. no one is doing anything useful and i am getting so pissed off. all people keep saying, 'i have other classes to worry about.' well so do i but i don't want to fail this class. the best was a women in my group is 2 months pregnant & her excuss was well i am pregenant and have no time for this. it was my understanding that during pregnancy the baby is inside of you. so i am not sure what kind of reason that is for not contributing to the project.
sorry but i had to vent.

people can be idiots sometimes...just brush it off and i am sure the teacher will see your effort and you will be graded accordingly on the project.

I know exactly how you feel. The last semester always seems like the worst cuz you are almost there! But you'll get thru it! I had the same types of issues with people I had to work with, but you just deal, and then it's over and everything works out

OMG School is driving me up a wall too.
I hate group projects. I'm so controlling anyway I just end up taking over the whole project. People take advantage of group projects...they sck.

Just remember- there is light at the end of the tunnel- you are almost done! Thats how I am getting through semester by semester ( I dont graduate until 2011, at the earliest). Also, maybe try to talk to the professor; tell her you are trying and no one is listening/helping.

trust me i know how i feel I go to one of the most well know universities in the world and they are all incompetent idiots...I just want it to be done with so I can get my degree and be done with them

I absolutely hated group projects in school. I would much rather do the work myself.
And BTW most people at 2 months barely know they are pregnant so what a sorry excuse

and this is why i hate group projects!!!!!! i know how you feel... i have a project due monday and i did THE WHOLE THING!!!! bc the people assigned in my group are complete morons and have never been in a classroom and the project is mainly about classroom experience and lesson planning annd im a minor control freak and i dont want to risk losing points on my gpa bc of them!

thanks everyone for making me feel better. i am just going to do my part & when she asks for the rest of the project i am just going to show her how it was broken down & then explain what happened. the professor is a grad student & she likes me so she will understand & know that i am not making up some story.
