I've been in good health all summer with the exception of a very little cold. Today i am going back to school for my first full year as a teacher and i woke up with a sore throat and a 101 fever. Fantastic! We have conferences today but i feel like terrible. Any suggestions to get me better by thursday when i have kids? I cant feel like this and handle 8th and 11th graders

Yikes.... When you get home, just relax. I've heard airborne works great!

Yes, airbourne does wonders and so does emergen-c. Try to get lots of rest and have your DH take care of you

Honestly if you have a fever, that's a sign of an infection. I'd get to your doctor asap, and get some anitbiotics. Hope you feel better soon!

Drink lots of fluids, take advil or tylenol to get the fever down and get as much rest as possible! Feel better!

I agree with Airborne...take it twice a day since you already do not feel well. Try and rest as much as you can, and have plenty of fluids. Feel better!

Rest when you get home, drink lots of tea wth lemon and honey.
If you can maybe get to your doc...if it's a bacterial infection they'll be able to give you something...if it's viral you'll just have to care for it and let it run it's course.
