This site is crazy. You type in your address and it shows exactly where sex offenders live. When you click on it, it even has their picture and their offense. It makes me nervous but its good to know if one of these pigs live by me...

They haven't caught him yet. They're still putting up new Wanted posters w/his face. I hope someone catches him soon too. I never EVER felt worried walking around by my apt and I hate that I feel like I have to watch my back now.

I thought sex offenders were not allowed to live a certain distance from schools. My parents live near a junior high and high school and this freak lives across the street from the schools. Isn't that illegal?

I dont live in Astoria but I am always there, I feel safe to walk there in the middle of the night, after going out and what not, with a group of people of course but new people move in, old people move out. It better be changing for the better. I would want to live there one day after Im married

He might not have even been from the neighborhood. I dont think they will catch him unfortunately for that poor girl. I carry a switchblade now. It could get me arrested but Id rather be arrested than raped...

I plan on sticking around. I love it and still feel safe regardless. I just have to be more 'alert' when I walk around instead of w/my head in the clouds like I usually do.
