NWR: Share a Funny High School Memory!

For some reason, I'm feeling nostalgic today.

One of my Latin teachers used to pick on my friend, Danny.

We'd be doing some classwork and when it came time to write our answers on the blackboard, she used to say in this somewhat thick Romanian accent,'Dannnnny, do sex on the board!'

Sex = Six in Latin, but she was being funny anyway.

Danny got up and wrote in the answer to number 6 for whatever work we were doing.

It was wrong.

The teacher would say, 'Bad Sex! That was Bad Sex, Danny!'

I'll never forget this woman.

I was JUST looking through old high school photos this morning.

I remember one time in Spanish class we had to describe a classmate in Spanish.

The guy I had to describe was a tall guy, but also on the heavy side. And a total douche.

I wanted to just say he was tall and had brown hair...but I said he was fat and had brown hair. OOPS! And everyone was like .

The teacher told me that I used the wrong word and I was like 'yeah, I did, but I'm still RIGHT'

Fkn snot.

Ummmm.......I honestly am drawing a blank of anything funny......HS kinda ****** for me BUT I will be happy to share that while I was walking to class last night (I'm getting my masters @ St. Johns) I was looking at all the 18-19 yr old kids thinking holy crap you guys were 4 when I was a HS Freshman!!!!!!

My best friend was given what she thought was a listerine strip from one of her friends. Well let’s just say it wasn’t that, when she went to class she started yelling at the teacher all serious to get the monkey of her head.

I have A LOT!!!!

my FAVORITE is when I cursed out my friend of the family/accounting and sports marketing teacher...

ok, my 1st period class in sr year was accounting, then 8th period i had the same teacher for sports marketing and every other day i went there 7th period for independent study. my teacher happened to grow up with my brother and was coached by my dad. (and he later was my DJ at my graduation party)

well i sat in the back with my friends, and usually did my makeup and talked (ps- i also graded the tests for both 1st, 7th and 8th periods )
well one day kromp (teacher) was messing around arm wrestling with a student and just hanging out.. then decided to call the class to attention... well he started getting mad that some people were still talking so he decided to lecture us... while staring at me, so finally i blurted out.. 'WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME? I WAS QUIET!?'
so he says, 'well i can't see anyone else past big head here'

I THOUGHT he was saying all he could see was my big head.... so I stood up and yelled 'well f*(k you a$$hole' and walked out-- now i'm in the corner furthest from the door and everyones desk is scattered, so it was like a maze, how i managed to get out of the room without tripping over someones bag or anyone saying anything, i still don't understand.

I didn't go back for over 2 weeks... I just used hall passes he had given me months before and signed his name so i could cut. I lucked out that my friend took attendance in the class and marked me there. (in both my classes and study).

when I finally had enough of my friends telling me to go back he met me outside the classroom to 'talk' while everyone was still walking in, people actually stopped to listen.

he apologized for calling JOE D a big head.. not ME... and said the only reason he looks at me is because hes known me since i was little and thought i felt comfortable... so i apologized for calling him an a$$hole... he told me not to worry about it.

yea, then at my graduation party-- he decided to tell everyone about it!

I love this!

Umm, probably the time me and my best friend and now MOH took the liberty of taking our other BF's car out during lunch break. The girl who's car it was didn't know because I had her keys because I needed to get my books out of there that morning, but we figured, hey why not, she has let us use it before and we were just going up to Wendy's! Well, it just so happened, that the car had NO gas in it and half way to Wendy's it just died and started rolling. I was only 17 and inexperienced as a driver so I was useless. We ended up rolling a little down hill onto someone's front lawn and into their shrubs! Lol. We had no cell phone, (this is when beepers were still cool) so we had to walk to the nearest pay phone and have my dad come help us out. Good thing we all got a good laugh out of it and no one was mad!

I was really really really drunk one night my senior yr in HS, and we were at the beach and I had to peeeee sooooo bad. We usually drank under the board walk.

NEways, we found a bathroom, and walking back I was determined to get back to underneath the boardwalk and to my Special Brew (malt drink...soooo bad for you, but got you f-up fast...my fav was the pink one!) asap. The ramp to get down to beach felt like a mile away, so i decided, in all utter stupidity, to jump off the boardwalk and attempted to land on my feet.


JACKA$$ FELL RIGHT ON HER FACE!!!

I don't remember falling. I remember laughing. I remember getting up, and being pissed that I broke my middle finger nail. And being more pissed that SOMEONE DRANK MY FRIGGIN SPECIAL BREW.

I went down in history for that story. To this day, no one lets me live it down, and the story constantly gets brought up by my friends. Someone even drew an illustration of the incident in my yearbook.

I was walking with a friend to the gifted program (for the smart people ) and we kept hitting into each other because our pocketbooks were on the same side (mine was on the right and hers was on the left, but I was walking on the left and she was walking on the right). So she said to me, put your pocketbook on the right side (meaning correct), but I was like 'It is on my right side.' Her response? 'No, your R-I-G-H-T right.' Did I mention we were on our way to the gifted program?

Another time I was with the same friend and we were talking about the last time we did 'it' and she said that she could've done it yesterday and we wouldn't have known. She was in the backseat of my car -- then she said, 'I could be having sex right now and you wouldn't even know!!!' Then, and I don't know when this happened, it got out of hand and she wound up blurting out, 'with my dad!!!!!!'...?????
