I am a teacher. I am on my feet all day. I bought a whole bunch of comfy shoes( flats) and they all hurt my feet! Some give me blisters on the backs of my heels, some give me red marks on the tops of my feet. Whats the deal? It seems like every pair of shoes I have will hurt my feet somehow. I just want to be barefoot...any one else have this problem?

totally. i think it all stems from a summer of flip flops and nothing else. I think I had heard that your foot spreads from them I know I am having a hard time finding shoes lately. I wish I could wear flip flops everyday of the year! I guess I need to move south to do that!

Flats are good for you if they dont have arch support. I'll look into areosoles and be sure your arches are fully supported. you'll be shocked to see the different. Also, be sure you are paying the right size shoe. your foot may be a 7 in one style but it could be a 7.5 in another.

Every single woman at my school was dying yesterday. I wore flip flops most of the day today because my feet were still killing me. I changed when I went out to meet the parents at dismissal.

i cant think of the name of it right now...braiin fart but there is a prodct that you rub on your feet that protects your feet from blisters...it loks like deodorant and you rub it on where the shoe hurts and it helps a ton!!

I have lived in flippies all summer and am so afraid my wedding shoes are gonna kill me now I am going to try my best to wear normal supportive shoes the week of to try and keep my foot as normal as possible. I can't wait for the weather to be cooler, so I can break out my fall boots

I have this problem too! But, I found a brand that is 100% more comfy than aerosoles....it's called Sofft

Me too! I seriously thought my feet grew over the summer, because my heels are all torn up from being on my feet all day. ugh why can't teachers wear flip flops

Dansko's are the shoes that Doctors wear, they are great on the feet, regardless of if you have been wearing flip flops or not. They are a little clog like, but they make many different styles now, some of which are cute.

I don't remember what brand it is I wore them so much the brand wore off. But they have a cork bottom and pretty leather sandle upper. Adjustable straps and I swear they feel more comfy on my feet than when I'm barefoot.
I do remeber they were $230 from zappos and worth twice that to me! Have them since last summer!
They are a little um .. ugly, but in a pretty way

I'm considering changing into some big, white, fluffy slippers when I get to the reception. lol. I really wanna be comfortable.
