nwr- shopping binge

I just can't restrain myself any longer! I am going to Riverhead today and buying some more things for the house!
The bathroom is almost done and I need some more coordinating things with it!!

I have been SOOOO good and now I just need to be a little bad.

GAP has lowered prices on few spring items e.g. khaki, sweaters, tshirts.

I went yesterday after gown shopping. The prices looked so good after shopping for $$ dresses!

Welp I am back and I am such a penny pincher...I get this guilt trip thing going on about the wedding and everyday things. I only spent like 50 and one of the things I bought wasn't even for me...I picked it up for a friend.

Someone teach me how to shop without guilt.

Re: nwr- shopping binge

oh man, I did that a couple of weeks ago! I really needed the retail therapy after a really nasty job interview, and it totally worked. I went clothes shopping though... so many great things were on sale... I got a sweater I've been eyeing at JCrew that I just could in no way justify spending so much money on... about 75% off!

And then I went to Loehman's.... if you ladies have never been to Loehman's, you really have to go. It's amazing. All designer stuff, all REALLY discounted... I found a skirt that retails at $118 that was on sale for $15!

Actually, the best part of the shopping trip... I was in the dressing room at JCrew trying stuff on, and my best friend in the whole world called my cell... She lives near Boston, and a month or two ago she came down to visit me, and we went shopping, and I fell in love with this jacket at the GAP but just couldn't justify spending the full price on it... she called me from the GAP in Harvard square to tell me that she had found the jacket I loved for 50% off! She asked me if I wanted her to buy it for me and I could pay her back... but I told her I was in the mall, and I ran down to the GAP and there it was on sale!

It sounds silly, but it made me SO happy... like, that's what it means to have great friends... they think of you like that!

anyway, that's my shopping story It makes me so happy to find things I love for a good price.
