NWR-Silica Gel, My puppy ate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a four month old puppy, and he just got into that silica gel stuff you get in a new box of shoes. Is he gonna be okay?

My puppy ate it and when we called they told us to induce vomiting and bring him to the vet. We brought him to the emergency vet and he had to stay overnight

How do you induce vomitting? Im so nervous for him..

Call the poison control people and they will walk you through it. Not sure what the number is but I think it was the ASPCA and I found it somewhere online.

Call them ASAP! I called them when my leo was having a seizure and they told me where to take him- im sure they will tell you exactly what to do- they are the EMT for pets!

def. call the vet or an expert. Crazy puppies! I know what it's like. Mine at my vitamin last night!!

Yup, hydrogen peroxide is the way to go.

I just saw your post. Your best best it to give him 2-3 tbl spoons of hydrogen peroxide, depending on his size. This will induce vomiting. If the puppy is very small only give him 1. Then take him to the vet.

Call poision control asap, and see if you can give him a dieretic (However you spell it asap)
